The day began with a great breakfast at seesaw in Armidale.
We set off to Brisbane following Geoffrey and Hilary. On the road for over 5 hours driving to get us from Armidale to Brisbane on the quickest route on April 26th. The road was a little busier than Thunderbolts Way, and the scenery not quite as stunning.
We came across a herd of brown cattle wandering about on the road, and being rounded up by people on horses, including a young lad who looked about twelve years of age.
As well as the cattle there were quite a variety of other road users
But the rail bridges were not up to the same standard as the road bridges
