Off to the coast on May 7th and 8th to Byron Bay to see the lighthouse, which is still in operation and allows visitors to climb to the top. While we waited for our tour to start we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming past, and a couple of them did some surfing!
We spotted Carole (and Lane) waving to us, then back down to earth to reach the most easterly point in Australia
As we were leaving, we got the photo opportunity of a lifetime. See below how the story built up. First there was us,
Then Peter Gray from the US joined us
Then Chris and Brenda from France
and then Peter and Fran from the UK!
As the day drew to an end we spotted some paragliders and a remarkable sunset
